WHAT IS THE JANUARY CONFERENCE

The January Conference is a shortened version of the June Training Camp and happens every mid-January. This conference offers a saturated focus in the message of the cross through worship and preaching. This is a weekend of spiritual renewal with an emphasis on intimacy with Jesus.

FORMAT

Beginning Friday night we have powerful worship and preaching services from a variety of Cross Style evangelists and preachers. One of the unique features of the Cross Style Conferences is the “back-to-back” preaching of the Word. Each service includes a blending of worship with two sermons from two different preachers, as we seek to respond to what God speaks to us through His Word.

WHERE IS TRAINING CAMP?

Training Camp is held in Lebanon, Tennessee (approximately 40 minutes East of Nashville) at the Cross Style Church (located a few miles west of the town square off West Main Street). For more information about the church and to view directions, please check out the church website below.

MEALS

We will provide coffee during the morning sessions, a light lunch meal at noon on Saturday, and dinner Saturday evening. Other meals are the responsibility of the attendees. We do not charge for the meals but we do ask that you consider donating to the yearly missions project.

TRAVELING

All participants are asked to make their own arrangements for travel to Tennessee. If you are flying into Nashville International Airport and need transportation to/from the airport, please be aware of the following so we can make sure a volunteer is available to drive:

Airport transportation is not available before Friday January 11.
Please do not schedule your airport pickup/dropoffs times during service times. Please be aware because of the number of participants coming into Nashville for the conference, you may have to wait a few minutes for others to arrive. We will try to let you know of any wait times before hand.
You must let us know of your airport pickup/dropoff times NO LATER than Tuesday January 8. If there is a problem or delayed flight while traveling, please let us know as quickly as possible. A cell phone number you can reach us will be given to you when you register for the airport transportation.

LODGING

All hotel arrangements and payments are your responsibility. There are several hotels available in the Lebanon area, all of which are only 5-10 minutes from the church. We have special rates for participants of the Cross Style Training Camp at the following hotels – all approximately a block off I-40 (exit 238) – 10 minutes (5.5 miles) from the church. Please contact the hotel directly and be sure to say that you are with Cross Style in order to receive the special negotiated prices.

NURSERY AND CHILDREN’S PROGRAMS

Training Camp is for EVERYONE in the family! Nursery will be provided and there will also be special services for children K-6th grade.

Middle School and Senior High Youth

There is no official program during the January Conference for teenagers, but teenagers are encouraged to attend and participate in all the services. The teens often get together after the evening sessions and will be playing games on Saturday afternoon.
