I am a Jesus pusher!!! He is the bread of life. He is not the baker of the bread. He has not gathered up the ingredients necessary and produced the bread. He is the bread! He does not offer you bread apart from Himself. He offers Himself alone. He does not simply offer you bread, but the bread of life. He said, “Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life and I will raise him up at the last day. For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me and I in Him,” (John 7:54-56).
You partake of the physical food; your stomach digests it and your blood stream carries the nutrition to every part of your body. Every cell is served life. Thus is Jesus to my life. He does not visit me; He is digested into me. He becomes the nutrition of every area of my existence. My mind, emotions, nerves, attitude, and spirit, all derive life from Him. Jesus is the example of such a reality. He said, “As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me,” (John 6:57). Did you notice the interaction of the words “As” and “so?” Jesus was living because of the Father. This is the explanation of how I am going to live by Him. What the Father was to Him is what He is to me. As He was filled with the Father, so I am filled with Him.
I am a Jesus pusher!!! I will know no food except Him. I will have no resource for life except Him. I will allow no substitutes. I will not partake of junk foods. He is my bread. Will you eat of Him with me and live? I am a Jesus pusher!!!
