I am a Jesus pusher!!! I am His business partner. I do not work for Him. I do not serve Him as a slave would serve a master. He is not my foreman on the ministry job. He has not even appointed me foreman while He sits in the big office. I have not purchased a religious franchise from Him giving me the right to certain slogans and ceremonies. He and I have gone into business together.
I am a Jesus pusher!!! He and I are in “fellowship.” The Greek word used often in the New Testament is “koinonia.” It means far more than a potluck dinner after the Sunday morning worship service. It is used in reference to James and John who were partners with Simon (Luke 5:10). All three men had invested their money and time to join together in a fishing business. I am not on the assembly line, a mere employee. I do not punch a time clock to collect a wage. I am in the main office; I meet in the big conference room. Jesus and I are partners in the Kingdom of God. His heart has become mine; what He wants is what I want. What sources Him now sources me.
I am a Jesus pusher for He is my enterprise. All other activities are secondary; they only have meaning as they fit into Him. He does not provide vacation time apart from Him; who would want it? He is my relaxation, my rest, my sweat, and my hard work. We do not work side by side. We work inside and inside for I am in Him and He is in me. It is a dream job. The job security is certain; the benefits are outstanding. He and I have become one. I am a Jesus pusher!!!
