I am a Jesus pusher!!! I am aligning my life with others who have been captured as I am. John declared God is light and in Him is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5). He is so emphatic about this truth. He reinforces the very idea of God is light by an additional negative statement of the very opposite thought. It highlights the fact that God is light is an absolute truth, without any exception or reservation. The absence of darkness is a quality of God. The Greek text uses two negative forms which reinforce each other. This expresses an emphatic negation.
I am a Jesus pusher!!! I am not attracted to the darkness; I am attracted to the light. I find no pleasure in confusion, dismay, depression, destruction, hatred, blindness, dimness, gloom, dejection, glumness, or sadness. I am not even interested in shade or shadow. My life cries for the brightness of His person. It is here I am exposed and changed. It is here I see clearly. I desire no deception. I do not want to live in the lie. Give me Jesus, the light. I will harbor no theology or concept which is not of the light. I want no style which is not of the light. No manner of living will be tolerated which is not of the light. No attitude will be allowed which is not produced by the light. Give me Jesus, the light.
I am a Jesus pusher!!! Flood my life with Him. May He brighten every dark corner. Let every hidden room be illuminated with His presence. May my countenance, my attitude, my eyes, the very tone of my life shine with the light. This is only possible when I am in Him and He is in me. Fill me the Jesus, the light. I am a light pusher, a Jesus pusher!!!
