I am a Jesus pusher!!! From the lips of another Jesus pusher we hear, “He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,” (Colossians 1:13). Are there not two kingdoms? We have all experienced the Kingdom of Darkness. The memories of guilt and defeat are still traps to draw us back into discouragement. The awareness of the multitude of people we have influenced for darkness instead of light could bring us to death. But God has not only taken us from the Kingdom of Darkness; He has conveyed us into the Kingdom of the Son of His love. “Conveyed” is a wonderful word to express what has happened to us. It means “to take or carry from one place to another.” Jesus has taken His powerful redemptive hands and picked me up. He has nestled me in the strength of His arms as He has carried me into the place of safety. He did not call me to come on my own. He has not waited on me to come to Him; He has come to me. I was abandoned by all; yet He found me. I was blinded and knew no direction; He saw clearly and knew where to take me. I was confused and could not make right choices; He came with clarity and insight. I was dead but have awakened unto life.
The first thing I saw in the new kingdom was the wonder of His face. It is the Kingdom of the Son of His love. Everything in the Kingdom is like Him; because He is the Kingdom. It did not take long to go from the Kingdom of Darkness to the Kingdom of the Son of His life. The reason is the Kingdom came to be within me. The King is residing within me. What a wonder to sit next to the King at His table! What a delight to continually fellowship with this wonderful King! How relaxing it is to have this King at the heart of every problem confronting my life! I am not alone; I am in the Kingdom for the King is in me. I am a Jesus pusher!!!
