I am a Jesus pusher!! Jesus proposed the Kingdom of Heaven in not a moral system to achieve. In fact, if the Kingdom of God shapes our lives into the performance of a moral system, we are hypocrites (Matthew 7:5). Any form of judging others produces this state within us. We miss our personal correction from Jesus by giving personal correction to others. We allow large beams to be dangling from our eyes as we attempt to remove splinters from the eyes of others (Matthew 7:5). Jesus, the King of the Kingdom, is the only solution to such a state. I must focus on Him.
We also give the holy love relationship of the Kingdom to the dogs and swine of our existence (Matthew 7:6). The dogs to which this verse refers were not household pets. They were scavengers who ran in packs. They were filthy, dangerous, and untrained. Judgment, competition, and measuring others reduce the Kingdom to dog packs and herds of swine. It is ultimate destruction. It is the result of a moral system that demands achievement and performance. It produces competition as we compare ourselves to others. Feelings of self-worth and value whelm up in me. After all I do more than you do. The moment this happens in my life, I have joined the dog pack and herd of swine. There is only one deterrent to such a condition; I must fall in love with Jesus. It is in Him, I am enabled to see you as He sees you. It is the perspective of the Kingdom of Heaven. What a relief not to compete with you, but to love Jesus completely. I am a Jesus pusher!!!
