I am a Jesus pusher!!! I see clearly in Him what I am to be. He is the shape, atmosphere, attitude, and image of all God intends for me. Peter leaves no room for doubt concerning this issue. After the Pentecost event, he is moved upon by the Holy Spirit to preach an explanation of the event for a large group of Jews. He boldly proclaims Jesus of Nazareth, a Man, sourced by God. What made Jesus the visible image of the invisible Father was the Spirit of the Father indwelling and sourcing Him. What would happen if I had the same resource living in me?
I am a Jesus pusher! This does not mean I simply talk about Him. This is not a banner I wave in the face of a crowd. Jesus pushing is not about correcting everyone who is wrong. I am not participating in a theological argument. It does not consist of a strong allegiance to an organization. I am sourced by the Spirit of Jesus. As Jesus was sourced by the Father so I am sourced by Him. This reproduces the life of Christ in my world. The life of Jesus is seen again. Christ likeness is far beyond my discipline. It is greater than bending my life style to achieve an ethical standard. It is not activity centered; it is person centered. It is the Spirit of Jesus indwelling and sourcing my life. This creates the possibility out of the impossible. An entire new level of living is now experienced. Being a Jesus pusher is His life generated through me. He pushes Himself! I am a Jesus pusher!!!
