I am a Jesus pusher!!! “Blessed are the pure in heart” (Matthew 5:8). The subject of purity has several fundamental issues. These are not just ideas or suggestions, but they are the hardcore realities of God’s heart. They are the essential building blocks for our outlook on life. What you decide about these issues will determine your practical manner of living. All your relationships will be colored by your view, and the relationships you allow in your life come under the control of these issues. We will be discussing these issues as we progress in our saturation in the Scriptures.
Picture yourself standing at the crossroads of your life. What you decide about purity at this intersection will determine whether you turn left or right. It is not about choosing a high road or a low road when both going in the same direction. The decision involves roads going in opposite directions. The decision you make will not dictate whether your life has ups and downs or a level path. Your life’s road will sometimes have curves and other times are straight. The right decision about of purity will not eliminate suffering or obstacles in the road. You are not deciding about ease of travel or number of rest stops. The issue under discussion is the direction in which you are headed. Jesus is purity! There is no purity in the heart outside of intimacy with Him. I am a Jesus pusher!!!
