I am a Jesus pusher!!! “Blessed are the pure in heart” (Matthew 5:8). We have often discussed the difference between what God has and who God is. The Trinity has omnipresence. God’s ability to be in every place at the same time is incomprehensible to those of us limited to one spot. Think of the effort, expense, time, and thought we put into going from one place to another. Each member of the Trinity has omniscience. The ability of knowing everything, past and future cannot be fathomed by one limited in his thinking. The omnipotence of the three persons of the Trinity is a frightening thought to one full of weakness. What chance do we have against such a powerful, all knowing, and ever present God? If He is fickle, irritable, mean, selfish, and a tyrant, we are in desperate trouble. No one can dispute the fact that what God has in power is under the control of who He is! Since this is true, we are safe!!! God is love (1 John 4:8, 16).
This cannot be questioned; Jesus is the visible image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15). No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him (John 1:18). Jesus is the second member of the Trinity. He set aside everything He had as God in order to completely demonstrate everything He is as God. What we see in Jesus is the pure heart of God. The reason the Trinity provided Jesus as a means of our forgiveness is because “God is love!” The only explanation for the Trinity not eliminating us is “God is love!” He brought all those things He has under the control of who He is. We are safe; He is love! I am a Jesus pusher!!!
