I am a Jesus pusher!!! “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16). Jesus began with the “Formation of the Kingdom” (Matthew 5:3-12). It started with the declaration of your poverty (Matthew 5:3). You are “poor in spirit.” You are helpless, destitute, and without any resource. If you embrace your helplessness, He will embrace you. This unity forms the Kingdom of Heaven. His resource begins to source your life. You cease to live out of self; you live out of Him. That means all He is begins to shape who you are. You become like Him!
Jesus said that He was the light of the world; now He says that you and I are the light of the world. How can this be? What was in Him is now in us. He flows in and through my life, determining factor of all my living. He is the single controller of my attitudes and actions. He determines me. That is why I have His attitude and thought process. That is why I glorify Him! Let me define again for you the definition for the Greek word “doxazo,” translated as “glorify.” It means “to influence one’s opinion about another to enhance the latter’s reputation.” I want to “glorify” Him in your sight. I want to be “light.” The only possibility to influence your opinion about Jesus is for you to see Him. The only way you will see Him is through me. He must shape me; he must control me; He must express Himself through me! I must be filled with Him in every area of my life until He is evident through those areas to you. That is the Kingdom of Heaven. It is not “I” and “he.” It is “we!” We become one! I am a Jesus pusher!!!
