I am a Jesus Pusher! In this context, Jesus uses this phrase, “till heaven and earth pass away.” This phrase refers to the time in which the Earth exists. He refers to a “jot” (iota), the smallest letter of the Greek alphabet. He continues with reference to “one tittle” (keraia), a stroke, which means “little horn.” A “keraia” is the small mark that helps distinguish one Hebrew letter from another. “One jot or one title will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled” (Matthew 5:18). As double emphasis, not only will the smallest letter not be erased, but also the smallest part of a letter will not be erased from the Scriptures. Knowing that Jesus equated His words sourced by the Holy Spirit with the Word of God is essential. Jesus said, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away” (Matthew 24:35). What is true about the Old Testament Scriptures is true of Jesus’ words!
The Living Word interacts timelessly with the Written Word. You and I must bring our lives into this interaction. Jesus reveals the principles forming the operation of the universes in the Written Word. You can discover the structure and proper maintenance for your life and relationships here. God dispels wisdom in this interaction, and the Written Word is all you need for decision-making. Allow God to fill your helplessness with the Living Word, who is speaking His Written Word in your life. I am a Jesus Pusher!
