I am a Jesus Pusher! I am helpless (poor in spirit), and in my response (mourn), Jesus comes to embrace me with His resource. We become the Kingdom of Heaven. The Kingdom is not a location or a place to dwell; it is a relationship. This relationship is in the interaction and communication of the Living Word and His Written Word. I am helpless to keep His Word. But the Living Word does not communicate the Written Word as in the Old Covenant. He does not appear on Mt. Sinai with stone tablets to read but embraces the core of my being and whispers His word in my heart. He reveals the Scriptures until they become the fresh speaking of His heart and His voice to my heart. In the speaking and revelation of His Word, He energizes and elevates me to the high level of His Word. In embracing all He reveals, I become what He reveals! Not to embrace His heart’s revelation would be not to embrace Him.
Does this mean there are no disagreements in interpretations of some passages? Of course not! Levels of maturity are among those in a relationship with Jesus. Jesus said, “Whoever therefore breaks ( luo – annuls or makes void) one of the least of these commandments (entole – authoritative prescriptions), and teaches men so, shall be called least (elachistos – immature or little ones) in the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 5:19). Does any person in the Kingdom relationship have full knowledge of the revelation of the Living Word about the Written Word? Of course not! However, all Kingdom people cling to the Living Word and grow in the revelation of the Written Word! I am a Jesus Pusher!
