I am a Jesus Pusher! “For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled” (Matthew 5:18). Jesus presents the “composition” of the Scriptures. The part and the whole of the Scriptures are integrated. Jesus described this in the phrase “one jot or one tittle.” This emphasis establishes the integration of the Scriptures. From the hook of one letter to the complete letter to the word containing the letter to the sentence in which the word abides, to the paragraph, to the chapter, to the book, and the whole Scriptures, the truth is fulfilled! Jesus did not place eternal weight on the meaning of one little mark but the combined truth of the Scriptures. A progressive revelation is given to us throughout the Old Testament Scriptures, climaxing in Jesus.
Jesus is the fulfillment, completion, and full accomplishment of all Scriptures. No wonder He is called “the Word” (John 1:1). All God spoke in the Scriptures is lived and revealed in the life of Jesus. Jesus is the visible image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15). Therefore, Jesus is the “composite” of the Scriptures and the Trinity God. If you desire to be intimate with Jesus, His word reveals Him; if you want intimacy with God, He is Jesus revealed and speaking through the Scriptures. No one can know Jesus without the Written Word, the Bible, or the Living Word, His indwelling Spirit. The Written Word and the Living Word must both be active, or the truth is perverted. Jesus wants to share my mind to reveal Himself to me through the Scriptures. It is as if His lips part and He speaks the Scriptures to me. I know Jesus through the Scriptures. I am a Jesus Pusher!
