I am a Jesus Pusher! “For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled” (Matthew 5:18). In the “Fulfilled Scriptures” (Matthew 5:17), the “Final Scriptures” (Matthew 5:18) are found. The “interaction” of these two realities creates one revelation. This revelation is Jesus! That means Jesus is of great “consequence!” The impact of the “Fulfilled Scriptures” is found in this Person. He is the “Coming One” (I came) who does not desire or purpose to eliminate the Scriptures (Do not think I came to destroy – I did not come to destroy) but to complete in every way the Scriptures (but to fulfill). Jesus expands this reality or gives it content in the “Final Scriptures.” The Scriptures are eternal; everything they indicate and speak will appear (all is fulfilled).), meaning Jesus is the end, goal, and purpose of the Scriptures. Without Him, the Scriptures consist of a dream unfulfilled. Because everything it proposes is incomplete, it is unsuccessful. We find the authority and strength of Jesus in the Scriptures.
Jesus’ authority in the Scriptures is the basis of every “one jot or one tittle” proclaiming Him. The flow of the letter’s smallest mark, the word in every sentence, and every paragraph forming the chapters that constitute the books shout the revelation of Jesus. If we preach the Bible, we must reveal Jesus. Any suggestion that a verse highlights a subject other than Jesus is a misinterpretation of the verse. The Scriptures push nothing but Jesus. If you are in tune with the revelation of the Scriptures, you are a Jesus pusher!
