Jesus Pusher 758

I am a Jesus pusher!!! Without hesitation, Jesus moved from murder to the reality of anger (Matthew 5:22). He gave no explanation or apology, and He did not attempt to justify His conclusion. Apparent in His statement is that our inner spirit understands the connection between murder and anger. The Greek word “phoneuo,” translated as murder, is specific in definition meaning unlawful killing with malice aforethought of another human being. The idea of “malice aforethought” is anger! You can conclude that no one has ever murdered without anger. The focus is not on “doing” but on the “being.” When the helpless person fuses with the Spirit of our powerful God, that forms the Kingdom of God. The function of this Kingdom is in the imagery of salt and light. The focus is not on doing but on whom you are.

Jesus naturally moves from the person’s action (doing) to the spiritual reality of the person (being). The attitude of anger will not lie dormant. The assumption is this anger will find expression and manifest to those involved in the situation. You must be sure to understand this truth! Murder, emotional upset, calling someone “Raca,” and labeling someone “You Fool!” come from the same spiritual condition in the heart. Anger always results in alienation from the hostility against another human being. Despite the degree of severity discovered in the expression of anger, its expression focuses on the other person, causing us to return to the idea of murder connected to the “image of God.” The image of God is our ability to be filled by and be one with God. This ability is what connects us with each other. Anger destroys both! I must dwell in the person of Jesus! I am a Jesus pusher!!!
