I am a Jesus pusher!!! Jesus gave us the New Covenant understanding of sexual purity. The writers of the epistles said it repeatedly. Paul proposed, “For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in passion of lust, like the Gentiles who do not know God; that no one should take advantage of and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also forewarned you and testified. For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness. Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who has also given us His Holy Spirit” (1 Thessalonians 4:3-9). This statement is so powerful that it deserves a study dedicated to its content. Do not allow the passion of lust to dominate your body. The dominance of your body is the right only of the Holy Spirit. He is the One merged with you. Live in His purity. If you do not allow the Holy Spirit to dominate your body, you reject God, not man! God must inhabit your sexual expressions.
We must hear the cry of the Scriptures. “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God” (1 Corinthians 6:9-10). Contained in this list of ten sins, four relate to sexuality. The writer of the Book of Hebrews said, “Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge” (Hebrews 13:4). We can only conclude from this that your sexuality is essential to God, and it is tied to His presence in you. Do not violate it! I am a Jesus pusher!!!
