Jesus Pusher 801

I am a Jesus pusher!!! Jesus said, “But I say to you that whoever looks” (Matthew 5:28). Jesus’ call is not focused only on sexuality but is at the heart of every life area. We are to see all situations as Jesus sees them, think as Jesus thinks, and have the mind of Christ (Philippians 2:5). If Jesus sources us with the exact nature God sourced Him, we will see, feel, and consider all things as He does! Our passage is not a call to control what we see but to allow Jesus to fill our weakness with His strength (Matthew 5:3-12). Our view will be determined by which nature is sourcing self, Spirit, or us. We can expand this thought. Physical sight is a DOOR into our inner being’s spiritual realm. In our verse, the link between “looks” and “heart” explodes with truth. The eye is the gateway into a person’s heart. Some people think we can look into a person’s eyes and see their soul, and Jesus established this connection.

If the eyes are the gateway into a person’s heart, then we can project the truth that what we see becomes food for the soul. Our eyes become the mouth of our soul, and we take in the supply of material that constructs our inner being. What the eye sees feeds the lust of the mind and produces adultery in the heart, which makes Jesus’ statement in our verse obvious. The link between what the eye sees and what the heart produces is not minor. This link is the reason Jesus said, “If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you” (Matthew 5:29). This verse is Jesus’ cry against the means that feeds the soul. I want Jesus! I am a Jesus pusher!!!
